- MBT does not offer student loans directly, and has chosen to partner with the iHelp program through Student Loan Finance Corporation. iHelp is a private student loan program providing financing for the ‘gap’ between federally guaranteed student loans and the certifiable costs of education. iHelp offers co-signer loans in the name of the student, and cosigners may be dropped from the loan after the borrower meets certain performance standards. Loans terms may be up to 20 years with no penalty for prepayment, and students may defer interest during college.
